Few properties tell a tale quite like 762 Bear Trap Ln, a picturesque haven nestled on a quite hill overlooking the one of a kind, Geneva Lake. Spread across a sprawling three acres within the charming enclave of Fontana, such a gem is a rarity indeed, a treasure that truly stands out.
It's been my absolute pleasure to guide these buyers—family friends—through this exciting exploration spanning more than a year. Our quest began with Bear Trap Ln as an initial spark of interest, but at the time, this coveted lot remained elusive, tucked away from the market. Together, we journeyed through countless homes and vacant lots, each with its unique charm but none managing to strike the right chord, none whispering that all-important message: "You've found 'the one.'" Then, as if by fate, 762 Bear Trap Ln made its grand debut on the market. We wasted no time in seizing the opportunity. Upon setting foot on the property, it was an instant revelation. They could visualize it clearly - a year down the line, their dream home would proudly stand here, basking in the area's lush, breathtaking scenery. As they embark on this new chapter, my joy for them is beyond words. It's been an incredible journey, filled with twists and turns, culminating in the discovery of their dream property. To have been a part of this real estate adventure is a privilege I cherish, and I eagerly look forward to witnessing the dream home that will soon rise on the splendid canvas of 762 Bear Trap Ln.

![]() Wow, was this a fun one! It's not every day that you can say you sold your parents home! 445 Forest was in fact my parents home. They made a big decision to take advantage of the market and sell their lovely 4 bed, 2 bath ranch home with lake rights. 445 Forest has great curb appeal with a soft grey/green exterior with white columned entrance and McCormack & Etten designed interior. The hardwood flooring, open concept and various tile made for a cozy atmosphere. As hard as it was for them to say goodbye to their home, the new owners are thrilled to spend the summer in Fontana! This challenge becomes even more significant when it is your parents' dream spot that you're tasked with discovering. Recently, I embarked on this rewarding journey, aiding my parents in their pursuit of over an acre of perfect land in the picturesque Geneva Lake communities. The end of our quest brought us to Wildwood Drive, a quaint, hidden gem cradled in the heart of a green paradise. It was here that we found an expansive acre lot that held everything my parents desired - privacy, greenery, and the promise of a peaceful life. Wildwood Drive's charm lies in its dense foliage and untouched natural beauty. This verdant lot, embraced by trees and resonating with the soothing sounds of nature, provided the perfect canvas for my parents to paint their future home on. Envisioning their dream dwelling amidst this serene backdrop brought a twinkle to their eyes and joy to their hearts. But the lure of this property was not limited to its sheer natural beauty alone. Being part of the close-knit Geneva Lake communities added an extra layer of appeal. These communities, known for their vibrant culture and friendly atmosphere, promise a balance of leisure and active living. Whether it’s boating on Geneva Lake, sharing summer barbecues with neighbors, or simply walking along nature trails, life here is about savoring each precious moment. Discovering this plot on Wildwood Drive, therefore, was more than just a successful property hunt. It was about finding a slice of paradise that my parents could call their own. The satisfaction of assisting in their journey was indescribable and a testament to the deeply personal nature of real estate. After all, it's more than just about buying land - it's about securing a dream for the future. ![]() Location, location, location! Why or why not? ![]() I worked with Isabelle Carter on this buying experience for our client. Before working with Isabelle and me, our client searched for a year for the perfect little condo located in the Geneva Lakes area. A few condos into the search, we found the one! Captivating; one word that describes this Lake Geneva gem. Edwards Blvd is a two-bed, two-bath, spacious hidden dream condo. That many descriptive words, really, Ally? YES. This condo from the entrance is meant to impress. As you walk in, you are greeted by a large walk-in coat closet, and as you head up the stairs, you get a sense of how light and airy it feels. I loved this unit because the walls weren't all cut at points, some were rounded, and some had beautiful moldings. What was unique about this home was the perfect nook for our client to write her book. Two balconies made for a plant/flower-friendly home, and the wooded back was perfect for privacy and calmness to the Lake Geneva summer rush. It was a pleasure working with Isabelle on this one, and I genuinely feel that the two of us made this process faster, more efficient, and less stressful for our client. Perhaps you'll see us both in the next blog post? What was so unique about this unit was the exterior; it was as if it was its own single-standing home with a side grand entrance. As you walk into the condo, you are met with stunning wood floors, an open concept floor plan, and an enormous amount of light. This home featured three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Each bathroom had its style, one more traditional where the other had a 4-foot concrete sink!-- it was epic and such an excellent idea. Geneva National has so much to offer-- 3 golf courses, pools, tennis court, parks, walking paths, and more. 1615's location is prime as it was steps from the extended private deck to the golf course, a short walk to the playground, and not too far from the pool and tennis courts. What more could you ask for? ![]() This two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath condo is any golfer's dream. After turning off Highway 50 into Geneva National, you drive through the snake-like, colorful fall roads to "The Woodlands." 1617's owner had a great sense of interior warmness. From the minute you walk through the front door, you feel welcomed. The wood accents and all caramel-toned kitchen was perfect for hosting gatherings. Did I mention that 1617 is located right on 1 of the 3 Geneva National golf courses? The large deck was the perfect relaxation or dinner spot overlooking the course. Snow or Sun, 1617's location is meant for every season. Paths for snowshoeing, tennis courts, parks for the kids (or adults), and a superb pool. You may be asking yourself, why did the owner of 1617 want to move? She didn't! Another Woodland unit popped up that had one more bedroom, and the rest was history. She and her black lab love the extra space, security, and amenities Geneva National has to offer. Have you been to Geneva National? What do you love about it? |
